Program Description
The Diploma of Professional Dog Training is a rigorous program of study intended to prepare the student for professional dog training. It involves an intensive distance course on theory and an in-depth hands on internship with an industry leading professional dog trainer. This is not a cursory and basic program of study but rather a challenging education that will result in a high degree of competency in theory and practice of dog training for the graduate.
Students can expect to do a lot of studying and writing as well as actually working with dogs hands-on in this program under the tutelage of an expert.
The graduate would be awarded a Diploma of Professional Dog Training and allowed the letters Dip.PDT after their name.
Graduation from this program of study represents a significant achievement and credential.
